I recently had a deck built and am very happy with the craftsmanship. Lillian (I hope I spelled his name correctly) in particular was great. He was able to explain things in an understandable way and was always willing to give detail when needed, but not too much to overwhelm the customer. The initial framing in particular was very good (again credit to Lilian) I would have given 5 stars but I was quoted a specific range in terms of time to completion (by the sales folk/main office, not Lilian)

Wanted an elevated deck upgrade. Royal Deck came out, took it seriously, put together a plan. We had an older backyard setup. Not the simplest job. The build ran a couple of weeks. The new deck changed how we use the backyard. Meals outside, evenings outside, the kids prefer it to being inside. Even the dog has a spot she goes to every morning. Going in I was mostly hoping it would turn out decent. It ended up being more than that.
