I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to because Derick Smith did such an incredible job on my custom project. Essentially Derick converted a large, bulky built in shelving unit into a gorgeous, customized built-in to highlight artwork and provide storage space. Derick took a simple sketch drawn by my designer and flawlessly built just the cabinetry we wanted!

I wanted to convert an awkwardly placed coat closet in our kitchen into a custom pantry and Derick helped bring my designs to life! Throughout the process he provided excellent feedback and advice that guided the design to the next level. I am so pleased with the final result and highly recommend MountainSmith Carpentry to anyone with a custom project of their own. I am already dreaming of the next design and would love to work with his team again. Thanks again Derick for everything!
