Our guest bathroom finally looks like it belongs in the same decade as the rest of the house. The old one had mismatched fixtures, worn out tile, and one of those giant mirrors that builders seemed to put in every home twenty years ago. The new vanity fits the room much better, the shower tile goes all the way to the ceiling, and the lighting around the mirror is actually useful. Small room, huge difference.

The space between our garage and backyard was always kind of awkward and never had a real purpose. We decided to have pavers installed throughout the area and it completely changed the feel of it. What used to be a pass-through is now a comfortable spot to sit and relax. The layout is clean, the surface is even, and it ties in nicely with the rest of the property.

This bathroom remodel saved me from replacing another shower curtain liner for the hundredth time. I swear that old shower collected mildew faster than any room I’ve ever had. We switched to a glass enclosure and larger wall tile this time around. Much easier to clean. The vanity has drawers instead of cabinet doors, which seemed like a tiny thing until I realized I’m no longer digging through a black hole looking for toothpaste.
