No matter what questions they ask, I always say, "I don't have to answer that question." Over and over. They don't like that answer, but they know it's correct. They are allowed to ask questions, but you are not required to answer them. They have a job to do, but you are not required to help them do their job. Eventually, usually sooner than later, they wave me through. I push back against government expansion.
