Always always always check the ROC website before hiring a contractor. Make sure they are licensed AND bonded. The bond protects you if they don't finish the job, or they do subpar work. Never hire an unlicensed contractor, & never pay before the job is complete.

Feeling really dumb for not checking reviews after Steve was recommended by another sub-contractor. The fraud took 18 K in deposit then ghosted me.
