The $89 price you get quoted when you sign up is only for them to drive over there. Then you’re presented with a 200+ dollar fee for them to diagnose it. In my case, it was an undetected leak triggered by Austin water telling me I had higher water usage. The technician who was very sweet recommended a toilet fix for $520 but happily told me I could do it myself for five dollars and then also said the water pressure coming to the house was too high and it would be over $2000 to fix that so I decl
Of course Air Conditioning stuff cost money. But I have to really appreciate the service. This company has fixed to my 18 year-old HVAC. That baby is running it’s cool right now and I still will be able to take a small vacation later in the summer.
This review is for the tech that came out. Sam was great, he resolve the issue promptly and restored our AC. We weren’t home so he provided with updates and even helped us replaced our filter to prevent our AC from having issues again!
Update:
Unfortunately, after the install we experienced more AC issue. We had a second tech come to tell us we need another part replaced after paying a hefty price for a new capacitor. We were scheduled for today to have another tech take a look bc our AC went o
