Tech disassembled the door spring, quoted me twice the price of industry standard, and then refused to put it back together when I said I couldn’t pay that. Pretended to call his manager to change the price or do work on the side. Very shady. Unsure if any of these other reviews are legitimate.

We called Spartan for service on July 17, 2025 for a garage door opener that was not working after a nearby lighting strike. Firstly, the technician mis-diagnosed the problem, then claimed it could not be repaired (The actual problem was a fried board in the opener which I replaced myself for $150 in the end). I had a technician out to look at my door, he was very knowledgeable and professional. Unfortunately, I never actually received the quote. It was to be sent the next day but I never received it, and despite calling and emailing multiple times requesting to get my estimate, a month later and I still have no idea how much they wanted for it.
