ok so we finally pulled the trigger on a home theater setup for the basement. had been putting it off forever because i figured it would be this whole drawn out thing but it was way less painful than expected. they came by, looked at the room, talked through what would work best for the size and shape of it. install day they were in and out pretty efficiently, maybe a few hours total. the surround sound is wild, feels like being in an actual theater down there now. picture quality on the project

They installed a full surround sound system in our finished basement and the difference is wild. The speakers are mounted flush so they blend right into the walls and ceiling, and the subwoofer placement makes the bass feel like you're in an actual theater. We watch a lot of sports and action movies so it gets plenty of use. The system they put together in our Burr Ridge place handles everything from streaming to game consoles without any switching issues. Just a really solid entertainment setup
