During a roof replacement, dry rot was identified in two second-story dormer window sills (~25–30 ft up, difficult access). I contacted SFW Company, which sent a representative who proposed accessing the area via the roof using boards already in place from the roofing crew. Unfortunately the damage turned out to be more extensive than expected and required some complex structural repairs to the rafters, but they clearly had the experience and skill needed to handle it properly.
