We purchased one on a reccomendation from a friend. We were skeptical when we received ours, it was rusty, heavy, and very basic for what we paid for it. We called S&S and they told us they understood the expectations of a $1000 fire pit. They would be happy to take it back at no cost to us. However, they had one request...."put a fire in it". They asked us to burn a fire in it before we returned it. Nothing special, just use it. Here we are 4 years later....our S&S firepit is the crown

We bought one of the 30 inch fire pits about three months ago. I went direct to the store because I live in Atlanta, where they are located. The guys who work there are honest and worked through different ideas about what size to get. I've used the fire pit at least six or seven times, and it is so solid and stable. I've really enjoyed it and can see how it will hold up so much better than the several prior fire pits I had bought before. The fire pit pays for itself over the years. So happy we b
