Six years after buying 2 gas logs sets with remotes from Royal Fireplace , they stopped working. They told me that I needed two completely new units to the tune of several thousand dollars. I looked around and found that the Real Frye Brand had a parts store in Florida. For $300 they sent me two new remote receivers and two new remotes. My contractor installed them. THEY ARE WORKING FINE. What a scam to try to sell me two new units.

We had a great experience with Royal Fireplace. Harry and his partner helped us choose, and then they installed, a vented gas log system. Small shop but lots of options to look at. Quick service, and same day response time a year later when we needed a service call. Really nice people.
