Customer Reviews
Very cool clothes store, found lots of stuff.
Worst customer service ever. They took my basket to look through, and even during drop off were super rude and dismissive. They called me 30 mins later saying they had an offer ready and were done. I showed up expecting my offer and they said they didnt go through my stuff and i “could thank my friend” because the person i was with wrote a bad review about them and they told us to take my stuff and leave. I did nothing wrong and they were rude from the start. Would not go back anyways, super pet
Rude employees, mildew smell when first entering, tried low balling my nice clothes so I took my business elsewhere.
I came to this Plato’s to sell clothes. I walked in with bags and the lady informs us the policy is one plastic tote per car which is fine but she was very rude about it. I asked her if that was the policy for other stores and she said “I don’t know what other stores do but that’s my rule”. I found this interaction incredibly unprofessional.
I'm writing this because I really want a response from this location on why items need to be in a hard bin? The employees were adamant about this in order to review items but offered no explanation on why. I could probably win an award for how many Plato's Closets I've visited in this nation and this is the only location that requires items be in a hard bin to sell. Make it make sense and then I can accept it but I can't think of any reason why a tote bag is less acceptable than a hard bin.
Response from the owner a month ago
Store is always clean and has a large selection of nice, like new, clothes to choose from. Most of the prices are decent as most of the clothes are name brand. The staff is always nice and helpful!
i’ve never been to this store without feeling like the workers were watching over me. They look at everyone like we’re gonna steal something, which is wild considering the clothes are not worth stealing. I don’t understand how some clothes get denied because it seems like they’ll take any old trash. I’ve seen shein in the store
