We hired NY Skylight to install a skylight a few months ago and they did such a phenomenal job, we decided to have them return and replace the other four in the house. As always, they did a fantastic job. The stock size Velux lights also have built in solar shades! Look no further if you’re considering skylights in the NYC area (we’re in Brooklyn). They are the best!!!

despite what seemed like an impossible task, hoisting 10’ long 400lbs velux modules up 20’ feet in the air, they did it and they got all 10 units up there in a day. pretty amazing!!

I had to replace an old velux skylight in a bathroom and I chose a certified Velux installer rather than a roofer. Dan from sales and Chris the installer helped me choose a replacement of similar size. It helps that Chris did the preliminary measurements etc. I wanted to get the job done before the holidays and and they worked with me. They brought matching roof shingles and the installation was clearly done with skill and experience in one morning by 3 men. I would recommend this company
