Shoddy, sloppy work. They winterized our system by removing the backflow preventer to store safely indoors (good) and left the exterior pipes protected from the elements only with duct tape (bad). When I called to ask if they would address this by installing a cap, insulation, or any additional protection for the winter, the manager informed me that this is their standard practice. We'll no longer be using Montgomery Irrigation, we'll go with a company that stands behind good and proper work.
