our back deck had a bounce to it that kept getting worse. felt like walking on a trampoline in some spots. turned out the joists underneath were undersized for the span which is apparently pretty common on older decks. mapledeck came out and reinforced the whole substructure added extra joists and sistered the weak ones. then put new composite decking on top. zero bounce now its rock solid. the deck looks brand new obviously but more importantly it actually feels safe to stand on again
