My experience was that this company has a very large problem with organization and communication. I scheduled something for my outdoor trench drain and an outdoor sump pump that wasn’t running. The first technician I had, unfortunately there was a large communication block. I was trying to ask questions about how to best protect our trench drain and questions about the outdoor sump pump like is the location it’s pumping the water to okay, and he wouldn’t engage at all with me. Madden Sewer & Drain did a fantastic job replacing our old sewer pumps for our 16 unit townhome complex. They did the project for about 40% lower cost than other plumbers I had gotten quotes from, so I was initially nervous that it was too good to be true. Happily I was wrong, they did a great job and I would definitely use them again.

Did not share pricing during multiple calls before service call, did not explain payment options, did not fix issue. After 30 minutes of four guys standing around watching one try to fix a sink, they revealed that I'd need to pay $300 check or cash and told me it was a 3% service charge to do it by card online. Which wasn't true. After the surprise rate, for a drain that remains clogged and a mess in the bathroom, I was also charged a surprise $25 dollar service charge for having to do an ACH on

They were able to squeeze us in, and resolved problem temporary, needs further work. Travis advised us as work progressed and was courteous at all times under trying conditions.

Reached out to Madden for a second opinion after another company insisted we would have to dig to clear a line blockage. Gave us plenty of time on the phone to explain the situation and then said they wanted to give it a shot! Cleared it rather easily and saved us $5K from the other company. Really recommend them moving forward.
