As an architect and founder of an awarding winning firm I know extraordinary talent when I see it and Lisa has a boat load of it. I even hired her personally for my own home and found Lisa to be highly creative, confident (which means they’re usually right), highly professional and responsible for delivering high quality services. Would not think twice about hiring her again.

Lisa and her team have worked with us on two houses in the Brookside area. They are experts with incorporating modern and transitional elements into old houses blending the old and new beautifully. They have a great eye for detail and finding unique and sophisticated materials. The team is fun, professional and attentive.

Lisa Schmitz Interior Design initially impressed me with beautiful vision boards, but what I received was completely different. Materials were downgraded without my approval, and cheaper alternatives were used in place of what I had paid for. By the time I noticed, the installations were already complete, leaving me with little choice. While the designs looked fine at a glance, knowing corners had been cut left a bitter taste. The lack of transparency and honesty was unacceptable.

We loved working with Lisa Schmitz. She assumed responsibility from the start and quickly showed attention to detail beyond our expectations. She and her staff kept us on schedule. Detailed invoices were provided, they worked well with the contractor and subs and always felt the project was in good hands.
