Matching up ballast can be a huge pain without access to a data base for cross refrence. I was working a job in Glendale that needed a ballast replaced on a very high ceiling. Brought the ballast into lighting Unlimited in Peoria and the gentleman at the counter named Jimmy I believe claimed he had 13 years experience cross referencing ballasts. Long story short, the one he sold me did not work! I brought it back to get a refund and he stated he would not take it back because he can’t resell it.
