had a new back deck built and couldnt be happier with how it came out. old one was a disaster, wobbly railings and boards you could practically see through. KOVL came in, tore it all down and had a brand new deck framed and finished in about a week. went with composite decking this time so we dont have to deal with staining ever again. the layout is way better too, they suggested widening the stairs and adding a small bump out for the grill area which was a great call. crew was solid, showed up

our front porch in Chicago was literally pulling away from the house, you could see a gap forming between the porch deck and the siding and it was getting worse every season. called a few porch builders and most of them wanted to just patch it but KOVL actually looked at why it was happening. turned out the original ledger board was rotted and the footings had shifted which was causing the whole thing to separate. they rebuilt the porch from the foundation up with proper footings and a new ledge
