Two of our bathroom windows had been leaking for I want to say a couple years, every time it rained hard there'd be water pooling on the sill and running down the wall a little. We kept thinking it was maybe a flashing issue but once KJ came out and looked at them they pointed out the frames themselves were warped and not sitting flush anymore. Pretty common with the older aluminum ones I guess. They replaced both with vinyl and the fit is noticeably tighter, went through that whole last stretch
