We hired JMJ to complete a garage conversion in our home. Work commenced in Feb 2026 after signficant delays. Unfortunately we had to fire JMJ after 5 weeks due to continued delays, lack of applying for a construction permit, and concerns about quality of work. Ultimately, JMJ was paid $14,000 and only completed a partial demo and framing over the course of 4 weeks. Owner James Griffith refused to communicate and provide a refund of any overpayments or to negotiate a settlement in good faith

Do not use- James is very rude and arrogant and his team produces subpar work.

Do not use JMJ Construction, he's unprofesional, rude, unorganized and an absolute horror to deal with. Kitchen project that was supposed to be completed in 3 weeks, took 12 weeks total and a horrible experience dealing with the owner James Griffith. His workers Jamil and Anthony were pleasant to work with, but the owner is unprofessional, unreliable, and incompetent if not dishonest.
