It is important to understand how difficult it is to find a local shop that works on vintage electronics, and even more challenging to find one that is competent. Today, Randy took time to sort out a problem with a vintage piece of equipment I have owned since new in 1979. The knowledge and experience offered was amazing. Vintage is not “plug n play” and takes time so when you appreciate that fact what they do becomes even more extraordinary.

Just a quick note to give a big thanks to Randy at Interwest Electronics in Murray! My 50 year old Kenwood KA-405 integrated amp had become pretty much dead. I thought it was the volume pots because I could tap the volume knob and it would sometimes come on. I sprayed contact cleaner on the volume pots and it still wouldn't play.
