A valve on the supply line to my water heater failed in the closed position, so I had no hot water in mid-December here in Flagstaff where the temps. get pretty low. Replacing the valve was not so easy because of residual water in the lines and the mess of pipes in the vicinity of the valve. We scheduled an HVAC appointment three weeks in advance, only for them to no-show and later tell us they didn’t have the part we needed. Very poor communication and a waste of our time.
