However, they recommended repairs for some dry rot issues found during inspection. They contacted us for the repairs and we agreed to have them do repairs. Missed a gas leak on home inspection. Contacted them to fix it and they came, left a hose, and refused to do any further work. Acted defensively saying it was not their responsibility. A gas leak is a safety issue and any home inspector should be familiar with assessing it. In the report, there was no mention of them examining the gas supply to the stove at all. If they miss this on your inspection, you will end up paying hundreds later on.
