We chose this facility because it was close and the rates were reasonable. Unfortunately that is the extent of the positive aspects we experienced. When we first moved in our unit was not cleaned and had piles of stuff the previous renter had left behind. They removed the items for us, we cleaned it and sprayed for bugs as it was apparent that would be an issue otherwise. Just moved from Baltimore to Benson and took a shot and used Freedom Storage to house my truck and motorcycle, that I had shipped here, until we arrived. Lisa was great with communication the whole time and let me know when my vehicles arrived and that they were safe. She was very helpful after we arrived in Benson and went above and beyond to give me help transporting my motorcycle (which wouldn’t start, unfortunately) to my home here. This is one of the best places to rent storage space. The people are friendly and helpful. I never had any issues with them and felt that my items were safe all the time. I will definitely use them again if I ever need storage space again.
