Needed soundproofing for my in-law unit bedroom wall that is shared with the main home kitchen and living room. Since I only could access the in-law unit bedroom wall side, I requested mineral wool, two layers of quietrock with green glue in between. Many contractors did not want to do the two layers of quietrock and didn't think the green glue was necessary. Do It Now Drywall immediately recommended all these as the best option for my wall.
