This is by far the worse experience I’ve had with a contractor. I paid this man $1875 to repair my deck back on 05/15/24 and he advised me my project will start in 2 weeks. It’s now the end of the summer and my deck still hasn’t been touched. Every time I reach out he gives some kind of excuse like he’s working by himself so that’s why it’s taking so long. I can understand a month but it’s not going on 3 months and with the summer ending I won’t be able to enjoy my deck. I now have to seek legal

I would highly discourage contracting with this individual/company. Although it appears he is talented in his craft, he is not at all reliable in completing (or even beginning) his projects. Despite having a signed contact and providing the required down payment, no work was ever completed nor was the deposit returned. Many promises were made over a period of time but he simply disappeared along with the deposit.
