Started looking into this after noticing the mortar between the bricks on our chimney was crumbling pretty bad. Got a quote within a couple days and they walked me through what needed to happen. The tuckpointing work took about a day and a half and everything looks solid now. Glad I didn't wait longer on it.

So the chimney was in rough shape,mortar was falling out in chunks and you could see gaps between the bricks from the street.i kept putting it off because I figured it'd be a huge project but eventually water started getting in near the flashing area and I knew I couldn't ignore it anymore.CW came out and gave me a quote that was reasonable, explained what needed to be done without trying to upsell me on a full rebuild or anything crazy . brick wall on the side of our building had deep cracks running through the mortar joints, some spots you could stick your finger in there. not great. got a few quotes from companies around Evanston and CW was the most straightforward about what actually needed fixing vs what could wait. they ground out the bad joints and repointed everything, took maybe three days total. wall looks uniform again and the new mortar blends in with the old stuff which i was worried about. solid fix
