Has anyone been successful in recovering their money for unfinished work?

If i could put up negative stars I would - this man owes us money - He is a crook and should not be allowed to do business.

We paid Cedric in December 2017 to start our cabinets and counter top with a completion date of March 15, 2018, We finally got the boxes near that date, and paid more money, but never got the cabinet doors, drawer fronts, pantry cabinets, skins for the ends of cabinets and crown molding. We paid another counter top company to purchase and install our sink, counter top and plumbing fixture.
