I scheduled an appointment to repair my recently purchased Whirlpool refrigerator since the unit was making excessively loud noise while the motor was running. The technician indicated he could do nothing about the noisy refrigerator motor and suggested I stock more food in the freezer to decrease the amount of time the motor was active.
