This was an awful experience, from College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving - Clearwater . Following is the blow by blow. On 3/23 I called for 30 boxes and 6 large bookcases to be moved from our apt to garage. I was given an estimate , 2 guys, 2.5 hours at $142 per hour. It was a no show. We moved to the Tampa Bay Area over 10 years ago and used College Hunks Hauling Junk more than five times for our own moves and twice for my parents. They used to have great customer service, accurate estimates, and teams that actually cared. These guys are horrible and inconsistent. Weve (and family members) have used them in the past multiple times. We had issues previous times with damage to our place which they fixed. This time they sent two people for a 3 bedroom apartment and charged us $1500. The same apartment cost half that last time we used them and they brought 3 people. Very happy with the move. Ben and John were awesome they did exactly what I asked them to do. Very polite and professional. I am handicapped so they moved everything to storage without me needing to sit there all those hours in my wheelchair. If there was a rating of 10 they would deserve it.

Update: I was reached out to to find a “solution” and the options are pay them for the second move of items they left behind or I can purchase my own uhaul and they would send someone out to load it as long as I drive. Absolutely infuriating. I’m now going to be out a full day of work and additional $400-500 dollars because of negligence.
