Do your research, I can not say that enough. I made a large and expensive mistake. I have solar panels and no battery to store extra energy. Batteries are just as expensive as the panels. I was not told about off grid vs on grid. I can say my Duke bill did go down. So having panels will not benefit me and my family during an emergency. Get all the facts first before making a very expensive mistake.
