I had Michael C., the arborist, come to our home on Chicago’s South Side to assess whether the maple tree we inherited with the property could be saved. Unfortunately, the previous owners had cut back much of its canopy, and it has now deteriorated beyond recovery. Although we can’t save this tree, I’m still giving 5 stars because Michael took the time to thoroughly evaluate the tree’s condition and provided thoughtful, practical recommendations about our options and what to expect moving forwar
