A's Masonry repointed a section of our exterior brick wall where the mortar had gotten pretty worn down. Some of the joints were recessed almost half an inch and a couple of bricks were starting to shift. The finished work looks great - the new mortar matches the existing color well and the joints are filled consistently all the way across. It's one of those repairs you don't think about much until you see how bad it had gotten.

The initial estimate was detailed and they explained what mortar deterioration actually means for the rest of the brick, which I appreciated. Once the work started, the crew was efficient and moved through the front and side walls over about three days. You could tell they knew what they were doing just watching how they raked the joints.
