The idiot (he’s not a plumber) put a rubber cap on an open ended pipe that he cut. The cap was too big for the pipe. 10 months later, heavy rain, cap burst off, basement flooded. By the grace of God, the idiot left the part he cut off that contained the evidence of his incompetency. I filed a Subrogation claim through my homeowners insurance
