I signed a contract with this company nearly a year ago with a hefty (nearly $20k) deposit for a solar structure. They have done no work on the project. No engineered drawings, nada. They last stated that my project was in permitting. I can find no evidence of this. Moreover, requests for evidence of progress have been ignored. While they were initially quick with excuses for broken promises, they now refuse to return phone calls, texts, and emails. This includes failure to respond to my request

This company does not have a valid ROC license! They are not paying out their subs and keeping the money from the homeowners. Terrible communication. As a homeowner or sub, I’d think twice before using this company. They owe our company money and refuse to pay. Dishonest and unprofessional.
Beware this contractor subs out all his work to other companies and does bot pay them! He owes us more than $10,000 and has no intent of paying. His exact words were to "get in line for people that are suing him" STAY AWAY!
This company doesn’t care for quality they take shortcuts all around and cost me more money for repairs than what it cost for the work on my home. They don’t even have a valid ROC number. THEY ARE NOT LICENSED!! they didn’t cover repairs. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT WORKING WITH THEM! ABSOLUTE GARBAGE.
Bottom line. They damaged my system April 2023 using an unlicensed contractor for a $5000 project. They were contracted to detach / attach 36 panels so the roof could be repaired.
It's still broken Oct 2023. They blame Sunpower because they haven't shipped a readily availble (ebay) cable. Sunpower equally bad.
The net-net of the worst part is they broke DOZENS of concrete tiles during the detach and attach process. At least 28 were broken after my roofing contractor finished. That's veri
10 out of 10 hands down! So thankful I chose this company to start my solar journey... I've had my system now for almost 3 years, the install went smoothly alternative energy did have to use a sub contractor due to my distance from their headquarters. Even with the added arrangements alternative energy was involved and incredibly helpful every step of the way. The 10/10 mark came when my inverter became non-op and I was producing no solar energy... Alternative energy had the warranty replaceme
7/2023 - We recently had are solar panels removed and reinstalled for roofing work by Alternative Energy and they did a fantastic job. Their customer service exceeded are expectations and would definitely use them again and introduce them to others as well in the future if needed. Rick & Cheryl
