Update: Please be aware that if you plan to have your roof replaced, the cost of removing and reinstalling the solar panels can be very high. It’s approximately half the cost of the entire new solar project. Unfortunately, I’m currently in this situation and have to deal with the steep expense. The labor charge is $180 per hour — it’s insane.

We installed an Enphase system with battery back up on our single-family home in Chicago. I highly recommend 93 energy for anybody looking for a system in the city of Chicago. This crew knows how to navigate the city and Comed bureaucracy along with the permitting and they do it with high quality and efficiency.
