They hire people over the phone who are not knowledgeable about the services or pricing. The technicians themselves are absolutely great, professional, and knowledgeable, but it’s not ethical for the phone staff to provide inaccurate information about costs and pricing. I also became concerned when trying to speak to the “dispatcher” because it sounded like Tom is using AI. Great service, but I was very shocked by the pricing. Over the phone, I was told the cleaning would be $199, but once he arrived, the price suddenly jumped to $499.99 for a “deeper cleaning.” That should have been explained over the phone so the customer doesn’t feel like they are in an awkward position when they are told in person. Also, there should not be a tip option so of course you’ll feel the need to.
